2ND ARCTIC SCIENCE MINISTERIAL

“Co-operation in Arctic Science – Challenges and Joint Actions” – the motto of the conference of science ministers, researchers and representatives of international organizations and Arctic indigenous peoples which took place on 25 and 26 October 2018 in Berlin. The declared aim of the Arctic Science Ministerial was to shape the course of future Arctic research. A Science Forum took place on Day 1 to discuss achievements in Arctic research to date. Science ministers from 26 nations met on Day 2, which concluded with the release of a Joint Statement on international co-operation in the Arctic.
